The dining experience is a relationship
The Italian word 'contatto' has two meanings. It refers to connection and being in a relationship, but it also suggests touch and the sensory dimension.
The gastronomic experience also lies in the relationship that is created with those who eat. The chef creates the conditions for something to happen but does not control the final result: pleasure belongs to those who experience it and arises from the intertwining of taste, memory, body and emotions of the diner.
